The first place I ever hosted a site was with a company that I later found out was based in Pakistan. Their customer support was practically non-existant. I tried every conceivable way to contact them whenever the site went down, which was often, and I never got a response.
Web Geek Hosting is a breath of fresh air. Not only has the site always been up, but the customer support is the quickest and best that I have ever received for anything. I moved here from hostway.com, and while hostway offers the same features, they charge for all the extras that come free with webgeekhosting. i'm getting abut $100 a month of hostway service for $10.95 and never a technical problem.

Web Geek Hosting had my web directories prepared before the ip address could even be resolved. it was awesome! i pay an insanely reasonable price and have the most helpful and considerate technical support (not that you'd ever need it!!)
